It's a talent show where the classes fight against each other. We were freshmen, and the freshmen never win anything, so we decided to work off of that. We did beat the sophomores though. So I'm going to try to upload as much stuff in this week and a half period of my winter break. Background: This is from a show that goes on at Centerstage in Baltimore, MD called Stoop Storytelling ( www.stoopstorytelling.com ). This was their summer special called Baltimoored: Summer in the City, which went on for three days in July. For those who don't know, the Stoop Storytelling series is where people from Baltimore and the places surrounding sign up to tell a 7 minute story relating to the topic, this time about Summer in the City. At intermission, people in the audience can put their name into a hat to be picked to tell a 3 minute story at the beginning of the second act. For fun I threw my name in, and I got picked to tell my story. So here is my story about summer school ( I went a bit over the 3 minutes...) I also was included in the WYPR broadcast of the Baltimoored ( www.publicbroadcasting.net ) Listen to the rest of the shows, the other storytellers are amazing.
