Jan 19, 2010 - Cybernetic creatures from the future only stoppable by humans also from the future. OMG, Zephram Cochrane is John Connor for Star Trek XD

Jan 22, 2010 - Speech and the written word is thought transfer, it just have a lot of interference. So yes, we'll get there eventually. It's not just a cool technology, it will be a necessity. I doubt it will just be problem solving, but also in a high degree design and architecturing, while the work to be done can be automated. (In other words, we'll do all the abstract work, and machines will do all the practical work)

TheReasonWhyGuy Says:

Jan 22, 2010 - Exactly :) I was just talking about the tech that will emerge within my life span :P Neural interface technology is progressing nicely, and I foresee that the basic fact checking system will be both useful, and revolutionary. You know the whole star trek universal translator... well I bet that'll come in the form of the thought transmitter, instead of some ridiculous tech, like a computer which learns new languages, before ever hearing them. Also, neural interface is simpler tech.

Feb 7, 2010 - the borg were better without the queen, more impersonal and intimidating

art11art12 Says:

Feb 7, 2010 - I totally agree, they were much more terrifying with the unrelenting pursuit of assimilation. They humanized the Borg and in the end ruined them. Don't get me started on anything Voyager did...what a crap show.

RollWithItVideos Says:

Feb 10, 2010 - Wondering if the new Star Trek Franchise can work the Borg into a Kirk timeline.

healer378 Says:

Feb 10, 2010 - It is very scary that nobody knows that this Borg idea is an archetype (subconscious idea and image) of what really is OUT THERE.

mitube4u Says:

Feb 12, 2010 - @rollwithitvideos now that they've change history/timeline with the reboot, they have free rein do anything w/out having to worry about what happened in the other movies/shows

svrhytm Says:

Feb 13, 2010 - if borg are cybernetic, why hasnt noone made a virus or hax them.. I MEAN COMPUTERS WTF...

Digitalsatsuma Says:

Feb 17, 2010 - I think that the Borg are the ultimate form of race when it comes to political ease: >Approval of government =100% >crimes per year =0 >Percentage of military personnel in population =100%

TheKnightwing1197 Says:

Feb 18, 2010 - You do have a point, but lets take this in perspective, The only computer stuff gurus in star trek are the fans. Star Trek was made before hacking was ever thought of. Yea, kinda stupid not having some of the characters be able to hack the Borg like in other Sci-Fi Big names. But look at it this way, in star wars there are no hackers in the clone wars or any of the 6 movies. I dont think the creators of The Sci-fi genres back in the 70's ever thought of having one of the heroes hack the enemy.

Plissken07 Says:

Feb 20, 2010 - @svrhytm Georgi LaForge actually did create a virus that could wipe them all out. They decided not to for ethical reasons. It's explained in one of the ST: TNG episodes.

Plissken07 Says:

Feb 20, 2010 - @Plissken07 eh, I meant Geordi...not Georgi.

trelokamenos Says:

Feb 25, 2010 - Assimilate me babe I volunteer!

kanharn Says:

Mar 4, 2010 - you obviously dont watch the show or you would know Janeway did in Endgame.

svrhytm Says:

Mar 4, 2010 - Future Janeway... and it wasnt a computer virus, it was something we1rd and biological

svrhytm Says:

Mar 4, 2010 - i wish that the star trek coulda had a real military.. like what happend to all the armies, soldiers and tank?? Federation had SOO many wars, and it was all up to starfleet to protect them? how can starfleet protect 300 star systems if their main objective is exploration. I KNO THE MACOS!! no need to mention them.. i just want more MACOS and more WEAPONs.. because if u look at the borg and the dominion - U SEE THAT THE ENEMIES ARE WAY MORE BADASS with proper soldiers (klingons/jemhadar)

kanharn Says:

Mar 4, 2010 - You really dont watch the show do you. It was a neurolytic pathogen, A VIRUS aimed at breaking the link between all the borg. dam some people just dont understand the simple bits of the show.

svrhytm Says:

Mar 4, 2010 - @kanharn i do watch the show, but im not an obsessed trekkie like you... The term Neurolytic is related to Neurolysis - the breaking down of the nervous tissue. Neurolyptic Pathogen breaks down the tissues. I, on the other hand, am talking about a binary virus - a computer program, much like the viruses and trojans today affecting our pc.. Borg are halfmachines, it should be possible.. I might not understand the show, but i do understand reality.

kanharn Says:

Mar 5, 2010 - yet your on here and claim to know about the show, talk about pot, kettle rofl, your just an idiot making stuff up to sound clever. I understand you taking the defensive stance for looking so stupid. Its funny how your trying to apply reality to a sci-fi series you nerd. You comment is just retarded and just nonsense. you sound like someone with no education acting like a nerd lol I would stick with Hanna Montana kiddo

svrhytm Says:

Mar 5, 2010 - Yet your the fat ass with no life who bothers to make good comebacks and comment on my vids.. Oh and and the stuff i mentioned can be found on wikipedia.. Your just too fat and lazy to actually care to check it. Your just one of those FAGGY trekkies whos like IM NO NERD... YOU ARE NERD... I KNOW THAT IN EPISODE XXXX THEY USE NEUROLYPTIC PATHOGEN.. Dumbass fucktard.. if u would only have know that SCIFI USES REAL SCIENTIFIC FACTS.. If u studied biology, u should know the nervous system.

svrhytm Says:

Mar 5, 2010 - Dont comment on my videos, i dont want FAT trekkis who live in their parents basement playing wow 24/7 to say OOO THAT SUCKS, compared to your weird ass pedo shit.. Do everyone a favour and die.. so i can laugh at you :D

svrhytm Says:

Mar 5, 2010 - Btw, thanks for getting me more views! now i have more people that watched my stuff =)

bulked Says:

Mar 6, 2010 - for those of us who dont get all hissy and annoyed about things being cannon or not, read the destiny trilogy-it explains the origins and destruction of the collective-and sees the federation crippled by an epic war between them and the borg
