thefireisfun123 Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - 2 questions first, how long does this whole process take? and two, how did u get it out of the can? does it just like slide out?

uchiacon Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - no, but you can break it up with a hammer, then coffee grind the smaller bits. that leaves it at about fine sand fineness, then you pop it in a ball mill for about 6-8hours with alumina media for the most powerful metal powder ever.

uchiacon Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - No, you have to cut the can and then peel it away. The process varies due to time to set up, pack up, but the whole smelting might take 30-40min. Great source for an excellent versatile metal powder.

uchiacon Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - Yeah, check out my flash powder vids. They have fine MgAl, but you know when your MgAl is just uber when it burns and sparkles from a blowtorch flame. If you place a small pile on a screwdriver and light it with a blowtorch, it should go white and possibly explode in a poof of sparks. If testing, make sure you wear safety glasses and gloves though, this shit burns hot.

vuurwerkmania Says:

Nov 29, 2009 - do you sell it?

uchiacon Says:

Nov 30, 2009 - yes, if you live in New Zealand, otherwise shipping just isn't economical.

TheKENNYBOY404 Says:

Feb 14, 2010 - do you put this stuff in a cofee grinder? isnt that ekstremely dangerous?

TheBombBros Says:

Feb 17, 2010 - should be by wieght. thats how ratios are meant to be

panzuman Says:

Feb 17, 2010 - thanx man

Adamjckay Says:

Feb 25, 2010 - can i use steel balls to grind it in the ball mill?

HandMadeFireworks Says:

Feb 28, 2010 - If you choose to ballmill it you need a completely seperate barrel, just for magnalium. Yes, steel bearings would be a good choice...
