May 30, 2008 - my parents bought me the sa-410 when i was in the 8th grade and i used to dream about owning the sa-1010 i even sent away to Matsushita Electric for the owners manual so i could read up on it. i think i still have the manual somewhere. Matsushita Electric would give out free owners manuals back then and as a kid, i would send away for every model of receiver turntable and cassette deck that technics made just to read up on them. i used to collect those little technics catalog booklets also

Feb 6, 2010 - you must be young as this is a 90's song called THe Humpty Dance by Digital Underground. If I remember right I was using a set of BIC Loudspeakers with the SA-1010. This video was taken about 5-6 years ago.
murfreebear Says:
Feb 6, 2010 - $75 for an SA-1000 is a steal. It is well worth 75 even if it don't work LOL. They got for alot on ebay. The SA-1000 was the highest wattage consumer stereo receiver ever offered.
murfreebear Says:
Feb 6, 2010 - The Pioneer SX-1980 was another analog monster at 265WPC.
JxT1957 Says:
Feb 7, 2010 - @murfreebear It worked great for about a year then it went out on me. i took it to two stereo repair shops but they couldnt get the parts, so i ended up selling it as is for $50. cosmetically was excellent. this was about 10 years ago. yea, i see how much they go for now on ebay, kinda makes me sick!
